🥃Ingredients

  • Granulated sugar1 1/3 cups
  • Water1 1/4 cups
  • Instant espresso powder1/4 cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder1 teaspoon
  • Vodka1 1/3 cups
  • Brandy2/3 cup
  • Vanilla beans, split lengthwise2

👨‍🍳Instructions

  1. Heat sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Stir in espresso powder and cocoa.
  4. Bring just to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Off heat, add vodka and brandy.
  7. Stir.
  8. Place split vanilla beans in a 1-quart glass jar.
  9. Pour the mixture over the beans.
  10. Seal the jar.
  11. Steep in a cool dark place for 1–2 months.
  12. Shake weekly.
  13. Strain when mellowed.
