Ingredients
- Japanese whisky (e.g., Suntory Toki or Kakubin)45 ml (1.5 oz)
- Chilled soda water135–180 ml (3–4 parts to 1 part whisky)
- Iceto fill glass

Instructions
- 1Chill the highball glass, whisky, and soda water in advance.
- 2Fill a highball glass with ice.
- 3Let it chill.
- 4Add the chilled whisky.
- 5Stir briefly.
- 6Top with chilled soda water at about 3–4 parts soda to 1 part whisky.
- 7Stir gently once from bottom to top.
