Ingredients
  • Bourbon50 ml
  • Fresh mint leaves8 leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • Fresh raspberries1 small handful, plus extra for garnish
  • Simple syrup (1:2 sugar:water)1 teaspoon
  • Crushed iceto fill
Instructions
  1. 1Heat 1 part sugar with 2 parts water until dissolved.
  2. 2Put 1 tsp of the syrup into a tumbler.
  3. 3Add the mint leaves.
  4. 4Add the raspberries.
  5. 5Muddle.
  6. 6Let macerate for 10 minutes.
  7. 7Remove the mint.
  8. 8Strain into a clean glass.
  9. 9Add a small handful of crushed ice.
  10. 10Pour in the bourbon.
  11. 11Stir.
  12. 12Top with more crushed ice.

Pro Tip

  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves (optional raspberries).
