Ingredients
- Bourbon50 ml
- Fresh mint leaves8 leaves, plus extra for garnish
- Fresh raspberries1 small handful, plus extra for garnish
- Simple syrup (1:2 sugar:water)1 teaspoon
- Crushed iceto fill
Instructions
- 1Heat 1 part sugar with 2 parts water until dissolved.
- 2Put 1 tsp of the syrup into a tumbler.
- 3Add the mint leaves.
- 4Add the raspberries.
- 5Muddle.
- 6Let macerate for 10 minutes.
- 7Remove the mint.
- 8Strain into a clean glass.
- 9Add a small handful of crushed ice.
- 10Pour in the bourbon.
- 11Stir.
- 12Top with more crushed ice.
Pro Tip
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves (optional raspberries).
