Ingredients
- Coconut oil (for rim)as needed
- Jaggery (for rim)1/4 tsp
- Salt (for rim)pinch
- Fennel seeds, ground (for rim)1/4 tsp
- Iceas needed
- Bacardi Coconut Rum2.5 oz
- Bombay Sapphire Gin1 oz
- Lime juice (from 1/2 lime)approx. 1/2 lime, squeezed
- Ginger beer3/4 cup
- Midori melon liqueursplash
- Blue Curaçaosplash
- Beet juicesplash
- Rose petals (garnish)to taste
Instructions
- 1Mix ground fennel seeds, jaggery, and a pinch of salt.
- 2Brush the rim of a chilled cooler glass with a little coconut oil.
- 3Roll the rim in the mixture to coat.
- 4Keep the prepared glass in the freezer while you mix the drink.
- 5Fill a shaker with ice.
- 6Add coconut rum.
- 7Add gin.
- 8Add lime juice.
- 9Shake well.
- 10Strain into the prepared cold glass.
- 11Add ginger beer.
- 12Add a splash of Midori.
- 13Add a splash of Blue Curaçao.
- 14Add a splash of beet juice.
- 15Top with rose petals.
- 16Add a lime peel.
