Ingredients
- Black tea leaves2 level tbsp (for 2 cups)
- Hot boiling water350 ml (for 2 cups)
- Gula melaka (palm sugar), granulated1 level tbsp per cup
- Full cream evaporated milk1 tbsp per cup
Instructions
- 1Place black tea leaves into a disposable tea pouch.
- 2Put the pouch in a teapot.
- 3Add 350 ml boiling water.
- 4Steep 5 minutes.
- 5Discard the pouch.
- 6Add 1 tbsp granulated gula melaka to each serving cup.
- 7Pour brewed hot tea to fill about 3/4 of each cup.
- 8Stir to dissolve.
- 9Add 1 tbsp evaporated milk to each cup.
Pro Tip
- Double-bag if using fine tea dust.
- Serve hot.
