Coffee Tea
Ingredients
  • Black tea leaves2 level tbsp (for 2 cups)
  • Hot boiling water350 ml (for 2 cups)
  • Gula melaka (palm sugar), granulated1 level tbsp per cup
  • Full cream evaporated milk1 tbsp per cup
Instructions
  1. 1Place black tea leaves into a disposable tea pouch.
  2. 2Put the pouch in a teapot.
  3. 3Add 350 ml boiling water.
  4. 4Steep 5 minutes.
  5. 5Discard the pouch.
  6. 6Add 1 tbsp granulated gula melaka to each serving cup.
  7. 7Pour brewed hot tea to fill about 3/4 of each cup.
  8. 8Stir to dissolve.
  9. 9Add 1 tbsp evaporated milk to each cup.

Pro Tip

  • Double-bag if using fine tea dust.
  • Serve hot.
