- Black tea leaves2 level tbsp (for 2 cups)
- Hot boiling water350 ml (for 2 cups)
- Gula melaka (palm sugar), granulated1 level tbsp per cup
- Full cream evaporated milk1 tbsp per cup
👨🍳Instructions
- Place black tea leaves into a disposable tea pouch.
- Put the pouch in a teapot.
- Add 350 ml boiling water.
- Steep 5 minutes.
- Discard the pouch.
- Add 1 tbsp granulated gula melaka to each serving cup.
- Pour brewed hot tea to fill about 3/4 of each cup.
- Stir to dissolve.
- Add 1 tbsp evaporated milk to each cup.
Pro tip
- Double-bag if using fine tea dust.
- Serve hot.
