Ingredients
  • Water3 cups
  • Fresh ginger, peeled and bruised2-inch knob
  • English breakfast tea bags2 bags
  • Low-fat milk or coconut milkto taste
  • Honey or unrefined cane sugar4 tsp, or to taste
Instructions
  1. 1Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. 2Add the bruised ginger and simmer 10 minutes.
  3. 3Remove ginger.
  4. 4Add 2 English breakfast tea bags and steep about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Remove tea bags.
  6. 6Divide tea into two mugs.
  7. 7Add milk to taste.
  8. 8Sweeten each mug with about 2 tsp honey or sugar.
