Ingredients
- Water3 cups
- Fresh ginger, peeled and bruised2-inch knob
- English breakfast tea bags2 bags
- Low-fat milk or coconut milkto taste
- Honey or unrefined cane sugar4 tsp, or to taste
Instructions
- 1Bring 3 cups water to a boil in a small pot.
- 2Add the bruised ginger and simmer 10 minutes.
- 3Remove ginger.
- 4Add 2 English breakfast tea bags and steep about 5 minutes.
- 5Remove tea bags.
- 6Divide tea into two mugs.
- 7Add milk to taste.
- 8Sweeten each mug with about 2 tsp honey or sugar.
