- Large grapefruits, halved2
- Granulated sugar (for dipping cut sides)2 tbsp
- Tequila4 oz (2 oz per glass)
- Honey2 tbsp (1 tbsp per glass)
- Lime- or grapefruit-flavored soda water2 cans, to top
- Iceas needed
👨🍳Instructions
- Set up a grill for direct heat.
- Dip the cut sides of the grapefruit halves in sugar.
- Grill cut-side down until char marks form (about 3–4 minutes).
- Remove and let cool slightly.
- Juice the grilled grapefruit.
- Fill two glasses with ice.
- Add 2 oz tequila to each glass.
- Add half of the grilled grapefruit juice to each glass.
- Add 1 tbsp honey to each glass.
- Stir each glass.
- Top each glass with soda water.
