Grilled Grapefruit Paloma Cocktail

Ingredients
  • Large grapefruits, halved2
  • Granulated sugar (for dipping cut sides)2 tbsp
  • Tequila4 oz (2 oz per glass)
  • Honey2 tbsp (1 tbsp per glass)
  • Lime- or grapefruit-flavored soda water2 cans, to top
  • Iceas needed
Instructions
  1. 1Set up a grill for direct heat.
  2. 2Dip the cut sides of the grapefruit halves in sugar.
  3. 3Grill cut-side down until char marks form (about 3–4 minutes).
  4. 4Remove and let cool slightly.
  5. 5Juice the grilled grapefruit.
  6. 6Fill two glasses with ice.
  7. 7Add 2 oz tequila to each glass.
  8. 8Add half of the grilled grapefruit juice to each glass.
  9. 9Add 1 tbsp honey to each glass.
  10. 10Stir each glass.
  11. 11Top each glass with soda water.
  12. 12Garnish with a rosemary sprig.
  13. 13Serve.
