Ingredients
  • Egg yolks4 yolks
  • Sweetened condensed milk150 ml
  • Strong espresso200 ml (about 4 double espressos)
  • Vanilla extract (optional)1 tsp
Instructions
  1. 1Whisk the egg yolks, condensed milk, and vanilla with electric beaters until very pale and foamy, at least 5 minutes.
  2. 2Place heatproof glasses or ramekins into slightly larger bowls half-filled with boiling water to keep them warm.
  3. 3Divide the freshly brewed espresso among the glasses, reserving about 2 tbsp.
  4. 4Spoon the whipped egg mixture over each coffee.
  5. 5Drizzle the reserved coffee over the top.

Pro Tip

  • Garnish with grated dark chocolate if desired.
  • Vanilla is optional.
