Ingredients
- Bael (wood apple) fruit, large1
- Chilled water1 liter
- Sugar4 tbsp
- Mint leaves (crushed)a few
- Ice cubesa few
- Salt (optional)a tiny pinch
Instructions
- 1Break the hard rind of the bael.
- 2Scoop out the pulp.
- 3Mash the pulp with your fingers.
- 4Remove the bitter seeds.
- 5Add chilled water.
- 6Mash again.
- 7Press the mixture through a sieve.
- 8Discard the fibers and seeds.
- 9Stir in the sugar until completely dissolved.
- 10Add ice cubes.
- 11Add lightly crushed mint leaves.
- 12Stir to combine.
- 13Add a tiny pinch of salt.
