Ingredients
- Watermelon (seeded and cubed)1 whole, 8–10 lb
- Fresh limes, quartered (for juicing)3–5 limes
- Granulated sugar1/4–1/2 cup, to taste
- Cold water6–8 cups
- IcePlenty, for serving
Instructions
- 1Seed the watermelon.
- 2Purée the pulp in a blender or food processor.
- 3Strain into a large wide-mouth jar or pitcher.
- 4Squeeze in the lime juice.
- 5Add the sugar.
- 6Add 6–8 cups water.
- 7Mix well.
- 8Adjust sweetness and acidity to taste.
- 9Add plenty of ice.
- 10Ladle or pour into glasses.
- 11Serve.
Pro Tip
- The juiced lime rinds may be added to infuse.
