Ingredients
  • Jamuns (black plums)20–25
  • Water3 cups
  • Sugar5–6 tbsp
  • Lemon juice2 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin powder1 tsp
  • Saltto taste
Instructions
  1. 1Wash jamuns.
  2. 2Add jamuns, sugar, and water to a pan.
  3. 3Bring to a boil.
  4. 4Simmer for 18–20 minutes.
  5. 5Cool to room temperature.
  6. 6Chill for about 1½ hours.
  7. 7Mash the mixture.
  8. 8Strain to remove seeds.
  9. 9Stir in lemon juice, salt, and roasted cumin powder.
