🥃Ingredients
- Dried culinary lavender1 tablespoon
- Fresh basil, roughly chopped (plus more for garnish)3/4 cup
- Honey (or coconut/granulated sugar)1/3–1/2 cup
- Water5 cups (divided: 2 cups + 3 cups)
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice1 cup

👨🍳Instructions
- Bring lavender and 2 cups water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- If using granulated or coconut sugar, add it to the water as it heats.
- Remove from heat.
- Add basil.
- Cover.
- Steep 10 minutes.
- Add lemon juice to a pitcher.
- Stir in honey (unless sugar was added earlier).
- Add remaining 3 cups water.
- Strain the lavender–basil infusion into the pitcher.
- Stir.
- Adjust with additional water or honey to taste.
- Chill.
- Serve over crushed ice.
