Ingredients
- Golden caster sugar60 g
- Water30 ml
- Allspice1 tbsp
- Rum200 ml
- Lime juice90 ml
- Champagne (chilled)600 ml
Instructions
- 1Warm the sugar, water, and allspice in a pan until the sugar dissolves.
- 2Let cool.
- 3Strain through a coffee filter or a double layer of kitchen paper.
- 4Add spiced syrup, rum, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker with ice.
- 5Shake.
- 6Strain into six glasses.
- 7Top each glass with champagne.
- 8Garnish with an orange twist.
