Ingredients
- Fresh mint leaves1/2 cup
- Honey or sugar1/2 tablespoon
- Black pepper powder1/2 teaspoon
- Rock salt (kala namak)1 teaspoon
- Roasted cumin powder1 teaspoon
- Fresh lemon juice1.5 tablespoons
- Chilled water (or ice + water)3 cups
Instructions
- 1Remove mint leaves from stems.
- 2Wash leaves well.
- 3Add all ingredients to a blender with about 1/2 cup of the water.
- 4Blend to a smooth puree.
- 5Add the remaining water.
- 6Pulse briefly to combine.
- 7Strain through a fine strainer.
Pro Tip
- Fine strain if desired.
- Serve well chilled.
- With ice if you like.
