Ingredients
  • Fresh mint leaves1/2 cup
  • Honey or sugar1/2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder1/2 teaspoon
  • Rock salt (kala namak)1 teaspoon
  • Roasted cumin powder1 teaspoon
  • Fresh lemon juice1.5 tablespoons
  • Chilled water (or ice + water)3 cups
Instructions
  1. 1Remove mint leaves from stems.
  2. 2Wash leaves well.
  3. 3Add all ingredients to a blender with about 1/2 cup of the water.
  4. 4Blend to a smooth puree.
  5. 5Add the remaining water.
  6. 6Pulse briefly to combine.
  7. 7Strain through a fine strainer.

Pro Tip

  • Fine strain if desired.
  • Serve well chilled.
  • With ice if you like.
