  • Lemon (juice)1 lb lemons, juiced
  • Sugar1 cup
  • Ground cayenne peppera dash
Instructions
  1. 1Juice the lemons.
  2. 2Peel the ginger.
  3. 3Grate the ginger.
  4. 4Place the grated ginger with a liberal dash of cayenne into a piece of cheesecloth.
  5. 5Tie the cheesecloth.
  6. 6Soak the cheesecloth in the water for about 15 minutes.
  7. 7Add the sugar.
  8. 8Add the lemon juice.
  9. 9Stir to dissolve.
  10. 10Chill.
  11. 11Serve.
