Ingredients
- Fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)~60 ml
- Cold water4 cups (960 ml)
- Granulated sugar3 tbsp
- Black salt (kala namak)2/3 tsp
- Roasted cumin powder1/2 tsp
- Ground black pepper1/2 tsp
- Ice cubesas needed
Instructions
- 1Dissolve the sugar in the water in a pitcher.
- 2Add the fresh lemon juice.
- 3Add the black salt.
- 4Add the roasted cumin powder.
- 5Add the black pepper.
- 6Stir until well combined.
- 7Fill tall glasses with ice.
- 8Pour the shikanji over the ice.
- 9Garnish with mint if using.
