Ingredients
  • Fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)~60 ml
  • Cold water4 cups (960 ml)
  • Granulated sugar3 tbsp
  • Black salt (kala namak)2/3 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder1/2 tsp
  • Ground black pepper1/2 tsp
  • Ice cubesas needed
Instructions
  1. 1Dissolve the sugar in the water in a pitcher.
  2. 2Add the fresh lemon juice.
  3. 3Add the black salt.
  4. 4Add the roasted cumin powder.
  5. 5Add the black pepper.
  6. 6Stir until well combined.
  7. 7Fill tall glasses with ice.
  8. 8Pour the shikanji over the ice.
  9. 9Garnish with mint if using.
