Ingredients
- Cuban white rum5 cl (1 2/3 oz)
- Fresh lime juice3 cl (1 oz)
- Sugar syrup (simple syrup)2 cl (2/3 oz)
- Fresh mint leaves7–10 leaves
- Champagne (brut), chilledabout 5 cl (1 2/3 oz), to top
- Crushed iceas needed
Instructions
- 1Gently muddle the mint with the sugar syrup and lime juice.
- 2Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- 3Add rum.
- 4Top with chilled Champagne.
- 5Stir briefly.
Pro Tip
- Use a chilled highball.
- Do not tear the mint leaves.
- Garnish with a mint sprig (optional).
- Serve immediately.
