  • Water (for boiling beans)300 ml
  • Granulated sugar7 g
  • Grass jelly (cincau), diced100 g
  • Sweetened palm fruit (kolang-kaling)100 g
  • Red syrup (cocopandan)5 tbsp
  • Shaved iceAs needed
Instructions
  1. 1Rinse dried red beans
  2. 2Soak dried red beans for about 2 hours
  3. 3Boil dried red beans in 300 ml water until tender
  4. 4Stir in granulated sugar
  5. 5Simmer briefly
  6. 6Remove from heat
  7. 7Place sweetened red beans in a serving glass or bowl
  8. 8Add diced grass jelly
  9. 9Add kolang-kaling
  10. 10Top with shaved ice
  11. 11Pour red cocopandan syrup over the ice
