- Dried red beans150 g (soaked)
- Water (for boiling beans)300 ml
- Granulated sugar7 g
- Grass jelly (cincau), diced100 g
- Sweetened palm fruit (kolang-kaling)100 g
- Red syrup (cocopandan)5 tbsp
- Shaved iceAs needed
Instructions
- 1Rinse dried red beans
- 2Soak dried red beans for about 2 hours
- 3Boil dried red beans in 300 ml water until tender
- 4Stir in granulated sugar
- 5Simmer briefly
- 6Remove from heat
- 7Place sweetened red beans in a serving glass or bowl
- 8Add diced grass jelly
- 9Add kolang-kaling
- 10Top with shaved ice
- 11Pour red cocopandan syrup over the ice
