Ingredients
  • Plain yogurt (curd)1 cup
  • Chilled water2 cups
  • Fresh ginger, grated1/2 inch piece
  • Green chili, finely chopped (optional)1/2 chili
  • Coriander (cilantro) leaves, chopped1 tablespoon
  • Mint leaves, chopped2–3 leaves
  • Roasted cumin powder1/2 teaspoon
  • Chaat masala (optional)1/4–1/2 teaspoon
  • Black salt (kala namak)1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Instructions
  1. 1Add yogurt, water, ginger, green chili, coriander, mint, roasted cumin, chaat masala, black salt, and salt to a blender.
  2. 2Blend until smooth and lightly frothy with no lumps.
  3. 3Pour into glasses.

Pro Tip

  • Garnish with a pinch of roasted cumin and a few mint/coriander leaves.
  • Serve well-chilled.
  • Serve in a tall glass.
