Ingredients
- Plain yogurt (curd)1 cup
- Chilled water2 cups
- Fresh ginger, grated1/2 inch piece
- Green chili, finely chopped (optional)1/2 chili
- Coriander (cilantro) leaves, chopped1 tablespoon
- Mint leaves, chopped2–3 leaves
- Roasted cumin powder1/2 teaspoon
- Chaat masala (optional)1/4–1/2 teaspoon
- Black salt (kala namak)1/2 teaspoon
- Salt1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Instructions
- 1Add yogurt, water, ginger, green chili, coriander, mint, roasted cumin, chaat masala, black salt, and salt to a blender.
- 2Blend until smooth and lightly frothy with no lumps.
- 3Pour into glasses.
Pro Tip
- Garnish with a pinch of roasted cumin and a few mint/coriander leaves.
- Serve well-chilled.
- Serve in a tall glass.
