  1. Cook the agar-agar powder according to the package directions.
  2. Pour the agar mixture into a bowl.
  3. Let the agar set.
  4. Cook the jelly powder according to its package directions.
  5. Pour the jelly into another bowl.
  6. Let the jelly set.
  7. Shred the set agar and jelly with a coarse grater.
  8. Add crushed ice to a jug or serving glasses.
  9. Pour in the canned longan with some of its syrup.
  10. Add the basil seeds.
  11. Add the shredded agar and jelly.
  12. Stir to combine.

  • Do not add sugar to the agar-agar mixture.
