Ingredients
  • Oranges, chopped2
  • Pears, chopped2
  • Lemons2 (1 chopped, 1 juiced)
  • Red berries, chopped (e.g., strawberries and cherries)200 g
  • Caster sugar3 tbsp
  • Ground cinnamon1 tsp
  • IceAs needed
  • Light red wine750 ml (1 bottle)
  • Spanish brandy100 ml
  • Sparkling water300 ml
Instructions
  1. 1Put the chopped fruit in a bowl.
  2. 2Sprinkle the sugar over the fruit.
  3. 3Sprinkle the cinnamon over the fruit.
  4. 4Stir to coat.
  5. 5Cover.
  6. 6Macerate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  7. 7Fill a large jug with ice.
  8. 8Stir the macerated fruit to dissolve any sugar.
  9. 9Add the macerated fruit, red wine, and brandy to the jug.
  10. 10Stir.
  11. 11Top with sparkling water.
  12. 12Serve.
