Instructions
- 1Beat egg yolks until blended.
- 2Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar.
- 3Beat at high speed until thick and lemon-colored.
- 4Stir in milk.
- 5Stir in rum, bourbon, vanilla, and salt.
- 6Chill thoroughly.
- 7Whip the cream.
- 8Wash beaters well.
- 9Beat egg whites in a large mixer bowl until soft peaks form.
- 10Gradually add remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
- 11Beat to stiff peaks.
- 12Fold the yolk mixture and whipped cream into the egg whites.
